Ms. Brinkley worked for the law firm as a paralegal prior to becoming a licensed attorney in 2005.  Ms. Brinkley works on personal injury cases and does some domestic law.  She has volunteered in teen court of Wake County. 

She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for her undergraduate studies and New England School of Law for law school.  Ms. Brinkley and her husband, Dewey Brinkley also an attorney, reside in Garner with their two dogs, Baxter and Leroy.
